The public technical home of the project: free releases, docs, issue tracking, and future source publication
This site publishes concise public information about project development. A detailed engineering work plan is not part of this page; however, major product changes, new releases, and further development milestones, including the transition to Open Source after version 2.2, will be reflected in releases and related public updates
Please report potential security vulnerabilities privately via the contact form or through a private security advisory on GitHub, rather than disclosing them publicly in the first instance
KafkaKombat is already distributed free of charge as a server distribution and as a public Helm chart baseline
Source code publication and the move to Open Source are planned starting with the 2.2 line
KafkaKombat is not described here as a lab-only concept. The product is already used in development and production environments, serves multiple internal teams, and is designed for Apache Kafka clusters secured with Kerberos through SASL/GSSAPI. A core architectural property is preserved explicitly: ordinary user-driven UI requests go through the Kerberos identity and ticket of the logged-in user.
